Iran has resisted attempts by the collective West to persuade Iran to exercise “restraint” in its retaliation against Israel for the assassination last week (I suspect with US foreknowledge) of Hamas leader Haniyeh in Tehran on the day of the investiture of Iran’s new President Masoud Pezeshkian.
